What reflexology is
Reflexology works on the idea that areas of the feet, hands and face correspond to organs and systems throughout the body. Pressing these reflex points sends signals through the nervous system and brings on a deep relaxation response.
Its roots are old and shared across cultures: pressure therapy in traditional Chinese medicine, foot and hand treatment depicted in an Egyptian tomb from around 2500 BCE, and Padabhyanga, the foot massage of India’s Ayurvedic tradition. The modern practice was structured in the twentieth century.

A session, from start to finish
- A short conversation about how you are sleeping, working and feeling.
- Gentle work across the feet to find where tension is held.
- Focused pressure on the reflex points that need attention, extending to the hands and face.
- Time to rest before you get up.
Often chosen for
- Stress and nervous tension
- Poor or restless sleep
- Tension headaches
- Fatigue after travel or long working weeks
- Anyone who wants deep rest without a full-body treatment
Reflexology complements medical care and does not replace it. Please mention any medical condition or pregnancy when you enquire.

“I have deeper calm, better sleep, and a steady focus that I could rely on. I feel centered and clear.”

Reflexology questions
Is reflexology just a foot massage?
No. A foot massage relaxes muscle; reflexology is a structured treatment of specific reflex points, chosen for what your body needs that day.
Do I need to undress?
No. Only your feet, and sometimes your hands and face, are uncovered.
Can it be combined with Shiatsu?
Yes. Many clients ask for both in one visit; Sunil will suggest how to divide the time.
